It couldn't possibly have anything to do with the fact that they had to not only switch engines mid-development, but had to BUILD THEIR OWN ENGINE in the middle of developing a game.
Considering what they've gone through, the game looks great. The more important thing is that it's fun.
I don't care if it's perfect. I can't play it legally without spending $70.
Release it somehow. upgraded CGI couldn't hurt it either.
Want a remake because they don't have a way to play/own the original without buying it for too much money. If they're going to do work to port it, there's no reason to not devote a little time to upgrading the graphics and audio.
More than anything it's the fact that it's a hard game to come buy cheaply and legally anymore. People just want a chance to go back to it for a not-ridiculous amount of money.
See, what you see is that neither console is going to get a boost. You neglect to see the fact that at the same time neither console gets a huge boost over the other, the PS3 will LOSE the boost normally received from FF.
That's an opportunity cost regardless of how you look at it. It's all relative. A huge guaranteed boost in sales was just negated essentially. with a better box being released for even cheaper this holiday, and probably another drop by the time FFXIII drops, it'...
I get it... because EA is evil... hilarious... almost.
EA isn't nearly as bad as they were 5 years ago. They tend to let their best developers actually do their best now.
I owned a PS1 and PS2. I preferred sony hands down. I was a huge sony fanboy. I bought almost every RPG for the console, and at least rented most of the others.
I bought an xbox, I loved it. I bought a 360, I love it.

Don't buy crappy games. Anyone who bought the game and cries about it is just as much to blame.
No... you're wrong. Bungie is an independent developer, but they have a signed contract with M$ saying that M$ has first dibs on any IP bungie makes. If microsoft doesn't want to publish the game (unlikely in 9/10 cases), can bungie go to other publishers.
Microsoft still has a publishing deal with bungie. Bungie's just allowed to make whatever it wants instead of whatever M$ wants, and they get higher profits. If they released a game to PS3 without M$ approval, they'd get their asses sued off and that game would never get done.
I think that M$ had the most well rounded, but I liked the actual games in sony's more, as well as the flow of the whole presentation. Overall I thought they were a lot closer than they've been the past 4 years.
I just don't like people tearing down an article because they are too ignorant, ill informed, or unmotivated to actually rebut it.
A lot of games have lag issues when their in beta (that's part of the reason it's a beta). I was playing bad company literally 30 seconds ago and it was pretty lag free. Been that way almost all night barring a pretty unforeseen and incredible mortar strike attack.
Early PS1 was the only time sony really paid for exclusives. After they took the lead developers were lining up to develop on sony consoles. That's why they don't pay now.
I had more trouble with the AI in halo 3 on legendary than I did with CoD4's AI. They flanked, they worked together, strategic grenades, sacrifice maneuvers, some ridiculous vehicle skills.
But thus, I can understand why you would tear down it's AI as it has Halo in the title.
just for mentioning that the game might (MIGHT) not be the best game next year.
Killzone 2 won't be the best game next year for this simple reason. I heard another developer say that they're game would be the best game next year, and what developers say is always 100% truthful. AMIRITE?!
what happened was he raised his points. you raise counter points.
if your only counterpoint is saying he's wrong, you're just as bad as everyone else here.
And I don't care if he's a nobody. If I say 2+2=4, is that any less than einstein saying 2+2=4? They are both just as true. likewise, if I say 2+2 doesn't equal 4 (not true obviously), and you don't prove otherwise, why should my posit be immediately wrong?
He is right, regardless of how important he ...
if only you could devote that much energy to proving him wrong...
you need to get some more realistic expectations for LBP.
It's a fine game, but just get realistic.
takes a lot of getting used to. It's a lot harder to control than it looks like in all the demos. If you watch the demo on G4, you'll notice adam and morgan have no idea wtf their doing 2/3s of the time.
I played it 2 weeks ago, and it wasn't much different. Except we didn't have a designer there to show us how it was after you learn to play it well.

think about it...
I'm all for proving the argument is biased, but attack the argument not the name of the website.
The 360 and PS3 are a lot more balanced than you think. The cell is a powerful CPU, but it has drawbacks. if it were flat out more powerful, games would all be either equally or better performing/looking on the PS3.
They are different. That's the only FACT about it. PS3 is better for some things, 360 is better for others. DEAL WITH IT.
